What to expect

This site is maintained by one person alongside other work. Replies usually take a few business days, and occasionally longer. Corrections to a pattern or a block count get priority over feature requests.

Reporting a wrong pattern or count

Two details make a report fixable straight away:

  • The exact dimensions — width and height, or diameter and layer number.
  • The style — outline or filled for flat shapes, hollow or solid for spheres and domes.

A screenshot of what you built next to the generated pattern helps more than a description. If the difference is that our ring cuts a corner where you expected a block, that is usually the thin-outline rule working as designed — the about page explains exactly which blocks get removed and why.

Before you write

A few things that come up often and are already answered:

  • Layers near the top of a sphere are wider than the equator. That is correct geometry, not a bug — the sphere generator page explains why.
  • A dome's top course is a flat disc, not a point. Also correct; a hemisphere is not a cone. See the dome generator.
  • The outline count is not π × diameter. Expected — the circle chart shows both numbers side by side.

What we cannot help with

We cannot help with game installation, mods, servers, accounts, purchases or bans. This site is an independent fan-made planning tool with no connection to Mojang Studios or Microsoft, and no access to anything related to your game or account. For anything involving the game itself, contact official Minecraft support.

We also do not take requests to add trackers, redirects or sponsored links into the tool.
